The Shamshir Foundation was founded with that spirit at its core. Named after the light in our lives, Shamshir means “sword,” and with it we cut through silence, stigma, and suffering. Our foundation supports individuals and communities who carry stories that deserve to be heard—especially those shaped by trauma, adversity, and the fight for dignity.
