Ishaan Tandon serves as the Indian Ambassador for the Shamshir Foundation, supporting blind cricket and helping create greater opportunities for visually impaired athletes across North India.
Having recently completed Year 12, Ishaan served as Sports Captain of Yadavindra Public School (YPS), Mohali. An aspiring cricketer, he has represented his school at the School District level and competed in prestigious All India IPSC Cricket Tournaments.
One of the most significant milestones in his journey has been helping organise North India’s first school-based Blind Cricket Tournament at YPS Mohali, bringing together four visually impaired cricket teams and contributing to greater awareness and participation in blind cricket.
Beyond the cricket field, Ishaan actively supports community and charitable initiatives. He believes in the power of sport to build confidence, foster inclusion, and create opportunities for people from all backgrounds.
Through his work with the Shamshir Foundation, Ishaan is committed to helping visually impaired athletes showcase their talent, determination, and potential, while encouraging a more inclusive sporting community.
