SHAMSHIR supported the Walk Against Family Violence, organised by Liberian-Australians Service Foundation as an annual event established to advocate and raise awareness on victims of family violence and highlight the urgent need to engage the community to prevent family violence affecting women and children of our community.
This walk engaged many communities to participate and take a stand against family violence. We, together honoured the lives of the women and children who were killed by their partner/father.
Every year, this an opportunity for families and communities of those affected by family violence to come together and show solidarity and commitment to ending family violence.
